navigating the uIEC drive and other SD2IEC devices. It also works
with the IDE64 (thanks to Schema) and 'real' Commodore drives. NAV
lets you navigate up to five drives, reads D64/D71/D81/DNP/M2I disk
images, and can be controlled by 1351 mouse, joystick, or keyboard.

WHAT IS IT

If you are interested in BASIC programming for the C-64, then you have probably used a BASIC Extension at some point. Most of us are familiar with Commodore’s Simons’ BASIC cartridge. Unfortunately, most of these extensions aren’t very useful. Simons’ BASIC, for example, has a pretty lousy set of commands. Many of them are basically (pun) useless. It’s also a very confusing set of commands — there are no consistent conventions used, making it necessary to constantly refer to the manual.

Further, a program written with Simons’ BASIC can only be run on a C-64 with a Simons’ BASIC cartridge. Pretty limiting.

DotBASIC Plus is similar to other extensions in one way: you get a lot of new commands (or DotCommands, of course) — over 100 so far. But that’s where the similarities end.

Julian Burger originally authored this software along with a partner. After Julian's death in the late 80's/early 90's his partner took on the task. He sold the rights to me in late 92.

I rebranded it as "Spectrum128" and squared away some of the network issues. There ARE later versions of this program branded as "Spectrum128" with functional networking & e-mail but I have so far been unable to find a copy.

I sold the rights to Breeze Daniels in 95, and left the C= world for the evil dos/win monster.

A faster, more stable 128 mode BBS can't be found.

FRONTEND FOR THE COMMODORE 64
I always wanted to make a frontend for my favourite computer of all time,
the Commodore 64!
My main goal was to write a frontend that can help me to build a relatively
small and personal subset of games and applications starting from the big and
"chaotic" set that is Tosec. So... here it is C64 Memories.

-Full support for Tosec naming convention: displayed data about games are
taken directly from the filename.
-Supports nearly all C64 images: .D64 .T64 .TAP .PRG .P00 .D71 .D80 .D81
.D82 .G64 .G41 .X64
-Comes with a C64 emulator: C64 Memories uses a slightly modified version
of Vice2.2 emulator.

UAE is a mostly complete software emulation of the hardware of the Commodore Amiga 500/1000/2000.
A Commodore Amiga, for those who don't know, is a 16/32 bit computer system based on the Motorola 680x0 CPU and a few specially designed custom chips that provide very good graphics and sound capabilities. Its first incarnation, the A1000, appeared in 1985, followed by the highly successful A500 and A2000 models.
